It was built in 1978 and is 20 miles south of Mombasa, and overlooks the beautiful coral fringed Diani Beach.   • Set in beautiful grounds, the 160 air-conditioned rooms are designed in African style whitewashed thatched rondavels. Africana Sea Lodge comprises groups of thatched-roof cottages known as rondavels, which gives the lodge its unique African village ambience.
  • Each rondavel has two rooms, telephone, radio, a terrace and en suite bathroom with shower.
  • The rooms have either double king size bed or twin beds with a private terrace.
  • The comfortable furnished two-roomed cottages have communicating doors for the convenience of families.
